Welcome to Cathcart Bowling Club

Located in the heart of Cathcart & Merrylee,  Cathcart Bowling Club is one of the largest community amateur sports clubs in the area. Our venue features a spacious dance hall, full licensed bar complemented by our recently fully refurbished lounges. We also have a dedicated Snooker room and pool table.

At Cathcart Bowling Club bowls is at the centre of what the club is all about. The club has a proud reputation across the Glasgow area having won several major events throughout its 140 year history. Our Green is the pride and joy of the club that we maintain to the highest standards possible.   

At Cathcart Bowling Club, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to all. Whether you are a regular or a first time visitor, our staff and patrons will make you feel right at home. So why not come and meet the people of Cathcart Bowling Club our door is always open    

Throughout the year we hold a number of open days to everyone of all ages whether a member or not. These are fantastic days that give people in the community the chance to try bowls for the first time or simply come and see what the club is all about and meet the club members. Information about these days will be posted on this website throughout the year.

Across the year we hold a number of social events showcasing the best new Scottish talent in rock, indie, funk, disco, and indie. 

 Our chilled-out venue has welcomed performances from well established artists including Robert McIntosh, Blue Nile & Shayron Bell with many more scheduled throughout the coming months and years.
